Don't worry if you haven't the correct clothing, just wear loose clothing with a bit of 'give', with no buttons or zips as they may dig into you. The club can obtain a gi for you.

Aikido is a practical and effective defensive martial art working by using the attackers force back against them. It is a subtle art as the idea is to blend with an attack and re-direct it, rather than brute force blocking and counter striking. It is suitable for men and women, large or small, as physical size and strength are not requirements.
