A Registered General and Orthopaedic trained Nurse, working within the NHS for 20 years - attaining senior nursing positions within acute care. Berni trained at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry, and at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. She worked as a Nursing Sister at hospitals in the West Midlands and North Wales. She has trained in many modalities over the years including psychology, management, teaching, counselling, nutrition, traditional Thai massage, aromatherapy and Reiki. Berni has travelled extensively, and enjoys walking, photography, reading and movies. She has strong roots in the local community and was educated at St Richard Gwyn High School, Flint.
Career development included training as an Acupuncturist, and she studied Osteopathy at Oxford Brookes University to degree level. Berni commenced her private practice in Mold in 1990.
