As a Montessori school, our approach to childcare emphasises independence, self-confidence and the joy of learning. Montessori education is recognised the world over and many of the founder, Maria Montessori’s, educational principles have been adopted by mainstream school and form part of every day life for many children. Bobtails provides daily childcare, from 8.45am until 4.15pm, Monday to Friday in line with local school term times. We believe that the best childcare works in partnership with parents and our term-time schedule means that families can make the most of their time together outside of school and nursery.

Bobtails is a friendly Montessori school for children aged 2 to 5 years of age. Because we are a smaller school, our staff : child ratio is high and that’s how we like it. It means that every child at Bobtails gets the attention and support we want them to have.
