He graduated from PCFE with the highest exam pass marks in the country before moving into commercial engineering where he worked on everything from cement mixers to fire engines and even fitted a V8 Paxman engine in a RAF coast patrol vessel which took two weeks, all before he was 19! He then returned to the light vehicle trade working in another independent garage before working for the AA at the time being their youngest ever recruit. He performed thousands of diagnostics and repairs during a very interesting seven years where he not only learned about real world breakdowns but also discovered first hand the impact of vehicle breakdowns and accidents on the vehicles owners. He then took some time out to travel around the world and upon return to the UK began working in a Volkswagen dealership. All this experience equipped him to not only repair cars but to understand customer needs and in 2005 opened Bradburn Autocare with a view to offering quality workmanship combined with trustworthy and personal service.
Ian Bradburn has been in the motor trade for over thirty years. As a teenager Ian always showed an interest in cars and began working at a local garage weekends and holidays at the age of 14.
