Bravesheep Images is run by me, Amanda Bristol, a freelance photographer based in Snowdonia in North Wales. Aside from natural landscapes, I am keen to capture urban landscapes and the ruin of urbex sites, too. Photographing people is not my strongest inclination, but I do enjoy capturing portraits. I have two ongoing personal projects: taking portraits of people at their place of work, and documenting small local shops before they disappear, which they are rapidly doing. I take on photographic commissions (though not usually weddings!), and work as a personal photography tutor on request. Sometimes, I even design websites.
Living in an area of such dramatic scenery and weather, landscape photography is irresistible. As well as the more obvious grandeur of the mountains, I also love to photograph the details of favourite walks: kissing-gates, footpaths, old trees, and meadows.
