Our primary purpose is to promote and practice a healthy lifestyle supported by both internal (benefiting organic health) and external (benefiting muscular and skeletal health) combat orientated exercises and Martial Way (Moo Do) ethics to all of its Members. Moo Do ethics aid character development and focus on honour, integrity and good actions. Lion Pride Tang Soo Do practices a curriculum that is in keeping with Great Grand Master Hwang Kee's (the Founder of Tang Soo Do) fully developed Martial Art of Tang Soo Do. The Founder's technical and philosophical developments continued until his passing in 2002. At Lion Pride Tang Soo Do Family classes; Members are welcomed, respected and encouraged to make progress at their own pace. This progress occurs in an environment where they are free from physical harm or intimidation. Our Instructors use their experience to help everyone grow and develop.

We call ourselves Lion Pride by the way our Members are with each other coupled with the goal of training with both developing strength and elegance in our style. Our Family Class students are always willing to help our Little Lions, and our Instructors are always willing to help everyone. The way everyone are when together is similar to that of a Lion Pride, hence the name was adopted.
