From the young age of 16-19 years, Rob enjoyed his short career as a carpet and upholstery cleaning technician, cleaning and inspecting all types of small spot marks to newly laid carpets for insurance claims and full restoration cleans to all types of fibres and fabrics The company Rob was employed by was taken over by a large organisation that wanted to squeeze as much out of their customers as possible reducing the time allocated to appointments to raise the profits. At this time, Rob could see customer satisfaction going downhill. Instead of an enjoyable appointment, it soon turned out that the priority was to clean an extra carpet in the available time.
