Chris grew up in the Burnham area and is married with two (now grown up!) children. After leaving Burnham Grammar School, working life began as a printer. In 1988 the company Christopher Hill Photography was formed. In the early years, Chris mainly concentrated on weddings but in 1996 converted part of the house into a studio to grow the portrait side of the business. In 2002 the family moved to their current location and a completely self-contained, purpose built studio realised the dream of working from home, but not in the home. Christopher Hill qualified as a master photographer in 1996. When Chris gained his Craftsman of The Guild of Wedding Photographers he became one of an elite group as there were fewer than 100 Craftsmen in the UK at that time. Chris has won many awards for his photography over the years, mainly specialising in the wedding, portrait and fashion categories.
