Acupuncture works on the body's energy channels known as Qi (pronounced chee). By inserting fine needles on points along these channels one is contacting the Qi and assisting the body to come back to an equilibrium where health can be maintained. Facial Revitalisation acupuncture is a combination of needling and massage that relaxes facial muscles, improves complexion and gently reduces fine lines. Both body and facial acupuncture use other techniques such as moxibustion, cupping, ear acupuncture and massage.
