Derry Print Workshop actively encourages people from all walks of life to get involved with the practice and art of printmaking and is committed to developing an exciting and innovative creative hub in the centre of the city. Instead of setting a date for each course in advance, we will take bookings and when the course has enough people signed up to be viable for us to run it, we will arrange the date with those who have registered their interest. This helps us avoid cancellations of courses due to low attendance.
The workshop is open to a range of artists from beginner to professional. Those who work in printmaking and already have knowledge of workshop practice may use the facilities under supervision and will be encouraged to develop their skills towards becoming a member. If you’re new to printmaking then you will need to undergo a beginner courses in the various mediums of printmaking before being able to access the facilities.
