It is a short, scenic, riverside walk away from the centre of beautiful Dunkeld which lies at the gateway to highland Perthshire in an area well known for its natural scenic beauty, its history and culture and its proximity to a wide range of outdoor pursuits. Eastwood has a rich and varied history of its own. Originally part of the Atholl Estates it was for many years a beautiful highland retreat welcoming renowned guests such as Sir John Everett Millais, Lillie Langtry, David Lloyd George, Stanley Baldwin and, most famously, Beatrix Potter.
