At our school we follow the B.A.T.D. syllabus for Ballet, Jazz and Tap classes. B.A.T.D. syllabuses are accredited by C.D.E.T. All certificates are recognised in colleges and universities. Our teaching style is to give the students an environment in which they can have fun, be creative, express their emotions, while always focusing on excellent dance technique. Our Teachers are life-long learners. They are educated, motivated, open-minded, innovative, passionate and devoted. We are committed to teach the art of dance with love and enthusiasm and we vigorously invest in our teachers’ skills and teaching methodologies. All dance teachers and assistants working with the school are part of the PVG Scheme (The Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
Elen Brandão Dance School was founded in August 2007 by Brazilian dance teacher, choreographer and artistic director Elen Brandão van Weegen. Based in Bothwell and Hamilton, Elen Brandão Dance School offers Ballet, Jazz and Tap classes for children from 3 years old onwards.
