He developed his love of photography by taking a course at the local college and decided to expand his skills and knowledge by continuing his studies and has completed a degree in professional photography with Anglia Ruskin University. Liam has had the opportunity to work with Hornby, photographing their latest Corgi models and has had articles published in their collectors club magazine. He has also worked with NHS Blood and Transplant, producing pictures for campaign launches and awards dinners and has associations with several clubs and Huntingdon Regional College where he has provided his services, taking pictures of special events and graduations. He has also had a number of images printed in national and local publications.
Liam first became interested in photography when watching his father take pictures as a child. It wasn’t long before his own camera was accompanying him on family holidays and days out. His love of aircraft was also inspired at a young age. Both his fascination with aviation history and his desire to capture these magnificent machines in photographs flourished during air shows and in subsequent trips to museums and air shows throughout the east of England.
