The school encourages the standards from traditional schools whilst creating a relaxed, welcoming and fun environment for the children to learn. Positive encouragement is used to achieve friendships and a high standard in dance. Dance is an excellent method of promoting self-confidence. Yearly shows are produced to showcase the children’s talents and yearly exams are offered which rewards their hard work and ability. The school is fully disclosure Scotland certified and has a child protection policy in place.
Gail Ashley school of Dance teaches Ballet, Tap and Jazz dancing in accordance with the British Association of Teachers of Dance Syllabus. Classes start at aged 1 with “Baby Ballet” progressing to preschool then through to seniors. Adult classes are offered and beginners are welcomed.
