Based in Thornbury, Bristol, we specialise in watch repairs and have a shop full of a wonderful range of jewellery and gifts. Our work is done in our own fully equipped workshop on the premises. The business grew and after a few years the workshop had over 30 trade accounts with prestigious clients including the Goldsmith Group and H Samuels. With the company expanding, Gems decided to open their doors to the public and open their first retail shop in the late 80’s. The company moved to their premises in Thornbury in 1992 and has enjoyed their location in this charming town. After attending Art College, the founder trained in a Debeers Designer workshop in St Albans then worked in Nottingham, Bideford and finally Bristol. Gems was originally a workshop established in Bristol in 1976, offering a jewellery repair and manufacturing service to trade customers.
