Here at the Gillian Quinn School of Dance we provide classes in Theater Dance for all ages and standards from three years old to professional students. We hold dance examinations in the disciplines of classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, national character, folk and theater craft, which are assessed by the Royal Academy of Dance, the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the International Dance Teachers Association. Classes in drama and musical theater can also lead to the assessments of the Trinity Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The School is approved as a center for grade and professional examinations up to advanced level and is also specialized in training boys, featuring separate boy’s classes which enables development of proper male technique which cannot always be achieved in a mixed class. As well as offering classes in all styles of theater dance, singing and guitar lessons are also available by arrangement.
