It was while walking dogs for friends and family, along with my own, when I first had the idea of perhaps turning my passion for dogs and my love of walking in the countryside into my job and become a professional dog walker. Little did I realise this would be the best career choice I ever made. I have never looked back, it is a job I truly love, even on the coldest or wettest of days. In return the welcome, love, affection and respect I receive from the dogs I walk is simply total job satisfaction. On walks Dexter loves sniffing out and digging for rabbits — but he’s never fast enough to catch them! When at home he loves nothing better than sun bathing out in the garden in the summer and laying in front of the wood burner in the colder months.
Dogs have always been a big part of my life, not only the dogs I have been lucky enough to have owned, but also friends and families pets that I have regularly cared for, walked and loved. I have owned and cared for all sorts of pets from hamsters to horses!
