We work with a small number of artists who are predominantly painters and original printmakers. We source rare and out-of-print books, maps and engravings, offering these alongside our ranges of new titles. Our range of other products is eclectic, from the finest of British-made textiles, fabrics, homewares, lighting, fashion, jewellery and gentlemen’s accessories, Japanese, Italian and British-designed stationery, toys from Germany and Japan and many other globally-sourced items. We also run the Plant Nursery at Newby Hall and specialize in hardy perennials and the flowering tree varieties of Cornus as Newby Hall holds the national collection.
