I've been building websites since 2004. A few years after I started I began to create dynamic sites using the extremely flexible blogging technology called Wordpress. It was great to use and I continued with it for more than 10 years. Of late, however, as a nod towards retirement (I'm in my mid-60s), I've decided to go back to my roots and start developing sites which are more static. They're great for when you want a web presence without necessarily wanting to have all the functionality of a dynamic site.
