My career took me to senior management in the motor industry, with much of my time being spent at Mercedes Benz. My passion for dogs however lead me to start KDW as a means to spend more time with my own dogs, and to be able to help more dogs through Doberman rescue charities such as FOND, by fostering & rehabilitating dogs, and helping them become better able to find new forever homes. I pride myself & my company on our professional approach to our service, but with the personal touch of a trusted friend. After serving 13 years in the RAF, my career has since taken me around the world working in the construction and oil industries, on high profile projects including the Olympic Games and the Forth Road Bridge. My love of animals has been with me from a very early age, growing up with sheep, dogs, cats, ducks, and chickens, and at one time even a cow was welcomed to recover by our fire hearth after being found in a snow drift!
Having trained as a riding instructor at Markington alongside Olympic Dressage riders, I have always had a great love of all animals, and a special affinity with dogs. My first dog was bought as a family pet but advised by many that I should have a go showing him. He went on to win numerous Championship shows in his short career the highlights were winning Crufts, Best of Breed two years running, as well as the UK's highest winning Dobermann in 1992. I have now owned and loved Dobermann's for over 30years.
