The nursery team pride themselves on giving loving and nurturing personal care to each and every child through forming strong attachments with the children and their families. Our dedicated , highly qualified and experienced practitioners use their skills to plan for inspirational, exciting, motivating and fun filled learning and development opportunities for children aged 3 months to 5 Years. The nursery also provides an exciting holiday club for children up to 8 years of age. The nursery is family owned and is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Penrith . The building is a modern two story development and both floors are easily accessible to wheelchair users. In 2015 Kiddlywinks took the exiting step of opening a second, rural nursery and holiday club at Redhills just outside Penrith. This is situated in a beautiful single-story former stable block and boasts an enclosed all-weather courtyard and a three quarters of an acre learning meadow. The Meadows was also awarded Outstanding status by Ofsted in 2016. Both nurseries have all weather safety surfaced play areas which supports our belief that learning should be spontaneous and happen in the indoor and outdoor environment. The play areas are extremely well equipped with a sand house, mud kitchen, creativity studio, play house, mark making area, growing garden and climbing frame, offering play and environmental learning opportunities for the children.
