Many of the friendly, knowledgeable staff are local which gives a real family” feel to the business, as they know a great number of the patients and their families. We feel that this is a very important factor in our business, as so much of our day to day life is spent dealing with large, anonymous companies and call centres. We like the personal touch and that is what we strive to achieve at Look Opticians. Look Opticians have been providing family eyecare in Erskine since 1986. Originally founded by dispensing optician Diarmid MacArthur and optometrist Calum McCallum, it is still owned and run by Diarmid and his optometrist wife Joan, who came to work there in 1992 and married the boss in 1995! Look Opticians is very much a Community based business, supporting many local schools and charities over the years.
