Marc has over 30 years’ experience growing the profitability & capital value of Owner Managed Businesses. He regularly lectures on business growth and succession planning strategies to SME owners as well as writing articles in professional journals on business valuation and VAT / tax mitigation. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Marc also serves on the Finance Committee of The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and is a Financial Consultant to The British Contact Lens Association. Marc believes in the maxim that clients always come first … except when his beloved Tottenham Hotspur football team are playing in which case it’s a close run thing. Marc qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994 and after reaching partner level in a medium sized accountancy practice decided to set up his own practise to better serve the needs of his clients and to provide niche services to owner managed businesses and individuals. Further to 2 years of rapid growth, he merged his business with AEL. Seeing his clients succeed is a driver for Marc. He enjoys working with clients, and developing personal relationships with them. Outside of work, his passions are his family and 3 kids, playing and watching tennis and following a certain red London football team (do I have to write the A word?). He also a won a handwriting prize aged 7, which he is clearly still proud of today.
