The Proprietors are Russell McCarthy Son of the late Roy McCarthy and Pam McCarthy his Mum. The venture was going to be jointly run by Father and Son but Roy lost his battle with cancer in October 2010 leaving Russell to carry the business forward. Russell is a qualified Honda Mechanical Engineer and for 16 years had been Foreman Technician at a local Honda Dealership in Ewell and he specialises in all Honda models. In addition to this he has worked on the majority of all other makes of vehicles from BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot, VW/Audi, Volvo to name just a few. Russell can diagnose and correct most mechanical faults and if he can't he knows 'a man who can'. Another side of the business is the preparation of Club Racing cars from building competitive engines to sorting out the suspension and handling.

Mount Garage was Established at Lower Kingswood late in 2010 as a General Mechanical Workshop with MOT facility and a Race Preparation Service. The workshop has its location just a mile from Junction 8 of the M25 and is located between the BP Garage and the first shop in the parade.
