We have a spacious house that includes two dedicated large rooms for childminding, which means the children have lots of space to play and have fun! Our main toy room is equipped with a variety of toys, arts & crafts and education materials and the second room is mainly used for quiet activities such as reading, board games and resting. We have a large outdoor play area where children can run around, play on cars, make dens and have lots of fun etc. This area is mainly decked with a smaller grass area. The children also have access to outdoor activities all year round as we have a purpose built area for children to use whatever the weather, this houses a large professional ball pit and a soft play area. We continually update/renew our resources and always look at the individual interests of the children when buying new toys. We operate a "wish list" for the children to record their up to date interests so we can always be sure that we are buying something they will like. We cater for children from birth - 14 years and offer childcare from Monday to Friday 7.00 am - 7.00 pm all year round. Weekends, Bank Holidays and hours outside our normal working hours are available upon request. We also offer local school drop off's and pick ups where necessary, as well as full time childcare within the school holidays.
We are registered childminders operating from a secure home environment in Teignmouth, Devon. Nicky has been registered since Nov 1999, Paul has been registered since Apr 2004 and we also employ an assistant, Nicky Ford. Our daughter Gemma is also registered to help out as and when required.
