Today, we live in an increasingly throwaway society. Popular high street and online retailers supply iron beds which are are usually designed to be assembled once. Mass-produced iron beds are often imported from outside the UK. These cheaper iron beds don’t tend to stand the test of time. Once they’ve been taken apart and reassembled a few times, the joints loosen; poles bow and shear; and fixings and slats can break (as many of us will have experienced!). We’ll build your bed using centuries-old, traditional blacksmith techniques with a dash of ultra-modern over-engineering. Our beds are easy to assemble, yet solid and sturdy no matter how many times they are reassembled. We encourage buyers to visit our showroom, to see and feel the quality of our beds first hand. We appreciate that not all buyers are able do so, and for those we provide video, close-up photography & reviews to attest to the high quality of our work.
