Paper Mountain Solutions started operating in 2004 following the experience of the Directors who set up their first business in 2003. It became evident that financial controls were not as good as they should have been which led to strains on cash flow and restricted business growth. Through implementing sound financial management principles and maintaining financial records that were up to date, we found that businesses could focus on development while Paper Mountain Solutions dealt with the bookkeeping, credit control and production of management accounts. Paul started his career managing insurance companies on behalf of their beneficial owners in Guernsey. This role included the financial management of the companies, preparing the accounts to audit stage as well as reporting to the board of directors of the companies on a quarterly basis to detail the performance of the business.
