We are fully Ofsted regulated and inspected and receive regular visits to make sure our practices are in accordance with the Department for Education and Skills Welfare Requirements. Pepperberry Day Nurseries was founded by husband and wife team Gillian and Anthony Akaraonye, who have 40 years experience educating young people. Gillian has a degree in Psychology from Liverpool University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. She has been teaching in primary schools for over 20 years and specialises in child development. Anthony is a former Assistant Director of Social Services for Liverpool City Council. Inspired by their work with children, Gillian and Anthony then set up their own full time independent school for children ages 3-18 years and a nursery for children aged 0-5 years. They believe that education should start as early as possible, and, along with their team, promise to deliver a rich and colourful learning environment in safe and friendly surroundings for every child.
