My working life has included teaching maths in Warrington, Leigh and Liverpool, working in an IT role and as an IT customer support officer. About 20 years ago I went by chance to a talk on hypnotherapy and I was hooked. I started my training as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist and have been expanding my knowledge ever since. I have listed a lot of the courses I have done below. I also like to think that, since I have had first-hand experience of many of life’s problems and painful situations, I have greater understanding of what my clients are going through. I was bullied at school, had an extreme phobia of wasps, have suffered with IBS, been addicted to cigarettes, been divorced and bereaved, had car accidents and suffered panic attacks. I have also known the pain of very severe back and neck problems. And it was by sorting these problems out for myself that I learned how best to help others.
I grew up in the North West of England between Manchester and Liverpool and went to school and college in Wigan and Warrington. I have always been fascinated by people and even then I knew I wanted to do something that would help people.
