Phillip and his wife Minnie started Phillip Reygate Auto Services Ltd at this site in 1989, and in 1997 took over the garage forecourt for car sales. Phil will always give an estimate of price for work to be undertaken and Phillip Reygate Auto Services is very competitive with the larger garage chains on prices for tyres and exhausts etc. Minnie fronts the reception and is always happy to give her “girl speak guide” to cars and repairs as well as adding her pot plants and scatter cushions to the reception area to make it feel quite welcoming.
They have been looking after several generations of local customers ever since, with their trusted staff of fully trained mechanics and mot testers who will undertake jobs of any size, from changing a stop lamp bulb to replacing a clutch.
