Poulton le Fylde Golf Club was founded in 1975 when the local council wanted to provide the people of Wyre with a golfing facility. Originally operated by the council, now privately owned, Poulton le Fylde Golf Club has grown to become a well respected parkland course known for its challenging layout. The course is situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Poulton le Fylde, which is in Lancashire, 10 minutes from the seaside resort of Blackpool. The course is suitable for golfers of all ages and abilities. The flat parkland layout is easy on the legs, yet the narrow fairways and water hazards make it a challenge.
