Rainbow Nightfreight has been engaged in freight services for over 95 years. By the 1980s, as nationwide next day networks emerged, regional carriers joined forces and the Nightfreight national freight network was created. The Rainbow Group joined the network as one of the earliest members. In 2012 the core Nighfreight operation was purchased by the DX Group to form industry leader, DX Network Services, complimenting their specialised secure ‘Document eXchange’ activity.
