RS Dance

We have a regular baby class for younger children aged 3 years upwards where they learn to have fun whilst interacting with music and the other pupils in a relaxed setting then moving into more advanced classes as they get older. Adult classes are also available for beginners tap, advanced tap, and classes held for exercise with a Street dance Hip Hop type twist. A great way to keep fit for adults and teenagers. We are a friendly family school and socialise too. We hold Quiz Nights - Bingo evenings - the occasional car rally - to raise funds for our shows resulting in a much lower outlay for parents as the school then provides the costumes at a minimal hire charge. We hold parties for the pupils i.e. Halloween and New Year and some of the adult pupils and parents have a party night out at Christmas and the occasional trip to the Marlow Theatre - we also like taking part in the Ramsgate Carnival (all optional).

Shows play an important part at our school. We have produced many shows, giving away thousands of pounds to several charities, including over recent years Demelza House and our local Breast Cancer appeal. It is an important part of the pupils education in dance. Its exciting learning the ways of the theatre and the art of performing whilst wearing nice costumes. We often take part in cabarets i.e. for Masonic nights, Lark in The Park, Kings Theatre Club Ramsgate to name a few, and our school show takes place at the lovely Theatre Royal in Margate. Even the adults take part (Optional).
