In addition we are affiliated to several bodies who can assist in providing those specialist serices that, from time to time, may be required. You may notice that we are based in Gloucester, but that does not mean we only deal with 'local businesses'. No, we look after the affairs of a large number of clients who work in the media industry and are always ready to travel. Currently we look after clients in several of the major cities of the UK as well as venturing into some pretty remote corners of the UK. Our principal, John Burston has over 40 years experience. Previously employed by several large companies before setting up Severn Accountancy Services over 30 years ago, he was disenchanted by clients merely being 'file numbers' and preferred to see the person 'behind the cheque book'.
