The shop closed in 1951 but local printers Smith & Son still operate from the original printing works at the rear of number 74, embracing modern technology, whilst continuing their traditional policy of friendly, professional service. The business is still today run by Mr Smith's Son Alan and Grandson Philip who between them have over 85 years experience in the printing environment.
