Smooth removals have bases in Sevenoaks, Kent, Surrey and East Sussex, so we can cater for local and long distance removals and relocations at competitive prices. We advise prospective customers to contact us midway between survey and exchange of contracts, if possible, to obtain a free, no obligation estimate. Deciding which company to use at this stage gives the customer one less thing to think about near exchange. Don’t worry if you do not have an actual moving date as yet, we are flexible and our policy is to ‘save the date’. And we will of course try to accomodate short notice moves should the need arise. We offer a packing service, usually carried out the day before the move. Alternatively, we can provide boxes (including tape, wrapping paper, wardrobe boxes and bubble wrap for small fragile items) on a loan basis, which will be delivered to you at a convenient time. Arrangements can be made to dismantle and re-assemble furniture where required. Carpets and flooring will be protected where necessary, and we take great care not to slide furniture on wooden floors. Once quoted, our price will not alter as there are no hidden charges. Standard waiting time for keys is included. We are comprehensively insured and additional cover for exceptional items can also be arranged.
