When you bring your vehicle to us for the first time the details are put onto our system so that next time it needs to come in we can have all the right parts ready. If you give us the mileage we can even tell you if it's due for a service. Also if you bring your vehicle for an MOT ask us to remind you next year and we'll give you a call when it's due again. Martin and Jane Hough acquired Stoney Cross Garage back in 1992. Although the business had existed for some time Martin brought the drive and enthusiasm that transformed it from a modest beginning to the operation that we see today,assisted in no small part by Jane who put a great deal of effort into supporting Martin in every way despite the demands of a young family. Over the years the business grew until the point was reached where the premises were too small for the work coming in. So in 2006 Martin embarked on an ambitious building program that more than doubled the size of the workshop and allowed more staff to be taken on to cope with the extra business. Other improvements included the installation of an MOT testing bay for which the garage was granted a licence in 2008.
