Strathclyde Autotune

Strathclyde Autotune is a family run business consisting of husband and wife, Peter and Moira McInally. Opening for business in 1984 the garage has expanded over the years to be the first choice for local motorists within the Hamilton and Lanarkshire area. From humble beginnings with only 2 staff and a small workshop and with Peter’s mother Helen helping out answering the telephone and writing out receipts to the large premises we now operate with MOT bays, ramps, engine clean rooms, diagnostic workshops and a training room we have never lost sight that the key to continued success is by providing our customers with the very best level of quality and service we possibly can. In 1984 we bought out first Crypton Tuning Computer which would go on to work tremendously well for us throughout the years as we built up our clientele base in Lanarkshire. In 1989 we purchased new property within the same estate and having carried out major building work we moved to our new premises in 1990. Having larger premises meant we could offer more of our services such as MOTs, tyres and exhaust fitting and lead to employing more staff throughout the years. We have continuously reinvested in making our company successful and in 2008 we decided to expand our workshop into a "state of the art" facility with revamped offices and customer reception area. As an independent garage in 2011 we became an official Bosch Car Service Centre and subscribe to the Motor Code Of Conduct, are AA approved and the Bosch Car Service code of practice is approved by the Trading Standards Institute.
