Sunshine Day Nursery at O'Neill Drive first opened its doors in 2001 with only a handful of children and has now developed into one of the most recognised nurseries in the area. Sunshine Day Nursery is a purpose-built nursery which provides full day care, and sessional day care for children aged 6 weeks to 14 years. We are in a good location just next to Peterlee town centre and we are very easy to find. At Sunshine Day Nursery, you will always get a warm welcome from staff. We are a 66 place nursery providing a wide range of services for children and their families including high quality care and education. With an additional 18 places for wrap around care which is available from a selection of primary schools in the area.
The Sunshine Day Nursery is a family run business which was first established in October 2001. Our main venue on O’Neill Drive was the first nursery to open its doors. Then in 2003 the business branched off, and we now have three very highly regarded nurseries in the local area: Sunshine Day Nursery, Seascape Children’s Centre & Dene House Nursery.
