Our credentials are second-to-none, with verifiable lineage and affiliations to world class organisations and world champion athletes, all brought to you at a local club level. We started life as Tavistock Martial Arts, teaching Taekwon-do and Little Dragons classes in Tavistock, Devon. Kickboxing classes were soon added and our club grew in size and popularity as we earned a reputation for thorough, high quality teaching. Our students regularly attained credits, merits and distinctions in their gradings and consistently brought home the medals in local, regional and national competitions.
Brit Spirit is a martial arts club with a difference. We firmly believe that Martial Arts should be accessible for everyone. Young or old, we welcome absolute beginners and advanced students of all ages and abilities. While we have trained some very successful champion athletes, we don't believe Martial Arts should be limited to the young and super fit. We make our classes accessible for all, including members with special needs who we always try to accommodate in our mainstream classes.
