The school is set in a pavilion overlooking extensive sports grounds which the school uses on a regular basis. We have our own dedicated garden and play area but still use the wider grounds for nature walks, sports day, weekly football training with Wycombe Wanderers FC and other related outdoor activities. The nursery takes children from the age of 2 until school age and is open during term time from 9am to 3.30pm. We are regulated by Ofsted. Please feel free to read our latest Ofsted report. Children staying for lunch are asked to provide a packed lunch. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided and children are urged to choose what snack should be provided each day from a list displayed on the wall. We also provide milk and water. Our nursery prides itself on its links with parents and with the wider community. We like parents to participate in their childs' school life by asking parents to join us with story telling activities, cooking, dancing etc. We also invite the Fire Service, Police and others to visit us regularly. This gives children a sense of place and purpose within their community. Every year we ask parents to attend Mothers Day and Fathers Day events at the school and also to join us for our Christmas Concert and Summer Sports Day.
The Chilterns Montessori School has been established in the Seer Green village for over 20 years. We cover a very wide catchment area with children coming from Seer Green, Beaconsfield, Chalfont St Giles, Gerrards Cross and Denham. Our children progress on to infant schools both in the State and Private Sectors and we have strong links with a number of infant schools in the area. The current owner, Libby Wilson, has owned the school for a number of years.
