My name name is Tanya Dunne , I am the owner of "The Groom Shed" in Dundry, near Bristol and at the moment the sole groomer . I have trained to be a groomer at The Canine Design Academy ,Evercreech,Somerset. All of my working life I have wanted to be my own boss , I am now lucky enough to find myself in a position that I am able to follow this dream and so "The Groom Shed" is born . We are based at my family's farm on top of Dundry Hill which was built by my grandparents in the first half of the twentith centuary.The buliding it self was built by my Dad in the early 1960's when he came home after doing his national service,it has been used for several purposes in the past from housing pigs to more recently being used as a tack room for my Dads livery yard.

I've previously worked as a qualified veterinary nurse and spent 25 years working in small animal practice within Bristol and the surrounding area . While working in practice I would clip/trim dogs and cats who needed sedation because they were to naughty/nervous for groomers to handle , this is where my interest in grooming began .
