Welcome to The Little Bike Company, which was established in 2012 by us, Beth and Simon Timlett. We have a shop, workshop and warehousing in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire near to where we live with our young family. We are both keenly into cycling. Beth trains hard for and sometimes even finds the time to compete in triathlons. In 2017 she completed Ironman Austria. Simon is more of a fair weather cyclist, cycling to work if it’s not raining and participating in the odd cyclo-sportive. We started this business because we were frustrated by the difficulty we found, as parents, in tracking down a variety of good quality, lightweight bikes for children. We felt that what was needed was one place to which we could go and see the best of what’s on offer for kids of all ages. As no one seemed ready to take it on, we’ve had a go in creating just that both in our shop and on this website. We hope you find the site useful and find what you’re looking for.
