If you are aged between eight and eighty eight and share our passion for the game of golf then you will find a warm welcome at Troon Welbeck Golf Club. Founded in 1973, the club offers affordable, friendly and competitive golf with regular competitions and events throughout the year. The club has its own clubrooms, exclusive tee times and is affiliated to the SGU. Like many clubs in Scotland, including St Andrews, the golf club is managed independently of the golf courses and our club is attached to the Troon Links complex, owned and managed by South Ayrshire Council and located right in the centre of Troon. Troon Links offers three golf courses with varying degrees of challenge. Lochgreen is the longest course (Par 74) with five par fives but it is set up for enjoyment with wide fairways and excellent greens. Darley (Par 71) is shorter than Lochgreen but provides a more varied and testing challenge with tighter fairways and gorse to contend with as well as challenging carries across the Darley burn which meanders through the course. Fullarton is the shortest course (Par 64) and is popular with seniors, ladies and juniors but still poses a challenge to all with its smaller greens and some testing par threes. All courses are relatively flat with easy walking and have some stunning views of Royal Troon, the Clyde coast and Arran.
