In our experience, we noticed that a lot of practices focus solely on assisting clients with statutory deadlines and offer very little more than that. As the fees for statutory deadline work can be quite high, this leaves little in the budgets of smaller businesses for tax advice and regular support which is where they would obtain the most benefit.
