At the age of four pupils can join the very popular Rainbow freestyle class which teaches all the party dances plus current trends. This class develops rhythm and co-ordination in a fun but disciplined way. All pupils are encouraged to take exams and build a rainbow trophy. From school age pupils are offered classes specialising in ballet and tap which progress through graded examinations taken with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing, up to and including professional level. Modern Stage classes are also an option, which helps to increase mobility, flexibility, rhythm and personality. This syllabus teaches the technique for kicks, turns, leaps, and floor work while incorporating keep fit and freestyle movements. Very popular with our pupils are the social classes, which incorporates Ballroom, Latin American, Freestyle and Street dance. Rather than being restricted to learning only one of these styles of dance, we aim to give an all round ability to appreciate and participate in all current rhythms and trends.
