Whistlers Framing

Allan (& the late Irene) are lovers of art, not just for the aesthetic quality but for the emotional impact it can have on people. Having run the successful Ark Gallery and picture framing business in Cockington Court, Torquay, Devon for a number of years, they decided to give in to their adventurous spirit and took off to explore and enjoy the beauty of Malta for six years. This experience was relaxing and reinvigorating, helping them realise that they were not yet ready to retire, so they returned to the UK in 2014 and decided to take on a new business challenge. They understand that having beloved memories, trophies and treasured photographs around us, as well as beautiful art, helps to create that true sense of home. As a Guild Commended Framer, Allan works with his able and dedicated assistant Carl, to ensure that the good work and reputation of the business continues to be upheld.
