At Whitakers Chartered Accountants we provide a cost-effective, high value solution to meet all of your financial needs. We began helping clients in 1935 from offices in Newquay and St Columb Major and we are still located in these towns. For over 75 years we've given an ethical, personal and professional service at a reasonable cost – as we continue to do today. As a long-standing Cornish business, we have worked with a broad range of clients, ensuring our place as an experienced general practice. We have three Principals whose depth of knowledge is extensive and immense. Our longest serving principal is N C Powell BSc, FCA who joined Whitakers in 1991, qualifying with and working previously for one of "the big four". Having worked with a range of accountancy firms, Neville brought with him an invaluable insight into different approaches, ensuring that Whitakers are client focused. S G Hawkey FCA joined Whitakers in 1993. Stephen trained and qualified with our firm, so has gained a greater understanding of the industries intrinsic to Cornwall and the whole of the South West, such as farming, tourism and leisure.
