Porthilly Gallery & Studio of Jethro Jackson is situated in the quiet hamlet of Porthilly in North Cornwall. The expansive coastline and panoramic views of the Camel Estuary provide an ever-changing pallet of inspirational colour and texture for resident artist and gallery owner Jethro Jackson, who works from the on-site studio at the rear of the gallery.
Specialising in modern framed prints and canvases, complemented by contemporary gifts, stationery and greetings cards, the gallery has been open since 2000 and in that time has built up a strong local following all year round. In the summer months, Portfolio has become a popular destination for many of the area's visitors.
In addition we have instituted project days where a member defines a particular project subject and leads the day. Apart from any materials cost these project days are free and take place on a Monday.
