I always knew I wanted to be an artist so after studying art at high school in Ayrshire I continued my art education at Glasgow College of Building and Printing and Cardonald College. In 2002, after building a large portfolio of various types of work, I gained a place at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee.

Please note that Gullane Art Gallery will be closing its doors at the end of January 2018. There’s nothing untoward in this decision — it’s simply a lease expiry, and after almost ten years and over 100 exhibitions, we now wish to move on to pastures new.

Graham Burrows 01506 846757
Based in my home studio in Linlithgow, I am inspired by the natural environment spending much of my time exploring the outdoors on foot. My appreciation and love of the outdoors and nature have given me much of my inspiration and are reflected in many of my paintings. I hope that my paintings reflect the variety and drama of the Scottish landscape.
